Intro

Red Sky is a #StartupStudio with +18 years of experience developing IT tech & products. We are a strategic partner of the Tar Heel Capital Pathfinder fund. We cooperate through a unique business model that combines the skills of a startup studio and a venture capital fund. We operate using the #VentureBuilding formula – based on the experience of experts, we create IT solutions and support promising startups.


Cooperation model

This unique venture-building model of cooperation ensures you a pivotal role in building a startup from the ground up. In this role, you will have the opportunity to create the product and the company. This role demands a visionary leader with a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and a data-driven marketing approach. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in building brands, leading teams, and driving growth in a dynamic startup environment.


Main responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to create awareness of the company’s business activities.

  • Drive the development of a cohesive and profitable marketing plan

  • Ensure the company’s brand message is consistently distributed across all channels and to targeted audiences to meet sales objectives.

  • Take ownership of the company's brand and narrative, ensuring it resonates with our target demographic and stands out in the competitive landscape.

  • Conduct market research to identify challenges and opportunities for growth.

  • Analyze market trends and competitors’ strategies to adjust the marketing plan as necessary.

  • Oversee the company's digital marketing efforts, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and online advertising campaigns.

  • Leverage analytics to optimize campaign performance and improve ROI on digital marketing investments.

  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated optimally to achieve marketing goals and objectives.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and creative thinking among team members.

  • Utilize data-driven decision-making to refine marketing strategies and achieve better market penetration and customer engagement.


Requirements

  • Proven experience as a CMO, Marketing Director, or another senior marketing role, preferably within a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful marketing strategies across multiple channels.
  • Strong understanding of market research techniques, data analysis, and statistics.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to navigate the fast-paced, changing landscape of a startup.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM software, Mailchimp or HubSpot).
  • Proven track record of managing marketing budgets and leveraging financial and analytical tools to monitor operational performance and evaluate decisions.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates experience with growth hacking techniques to rapidly scale business operations in a cost-effective manner.
  • Experience in partnership development, negotiating and managing contracts with vendors and partners.
  • High level of initiative, passion for innovation, and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills – able to identify, analyze, and propose solutions to various marketing and business challenges.
  • A strong network within the business and marketing community, advantageous for partnership and business development opportunities.
  • Willingness to experiment and iterate on different strategies in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of Polish language (at least C1)
