About the role
We are looking for a Sales/Business Development Manager responsible for acquiring new B2B clients in Poland and internationally.
This is a role for someone with a strong sales instinct, commercial drive and an existing network in the technology sector. We are looking for a person who enjoys prospecting, reaching out to decision-makers, initiating conversations and closing deals.
In the first stage, your main focus will be on new business. Over time, we would like this person also to develop the ability and willingness to stay close to acquired clients and support long-term commercial relationships.
Your responsibilities
As a Sales / Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:
actively acquiring new B2B clients in Poland and internationally,
identifying companies that may need DevOps, cloud, Kubernetes, infrastructure or AI implementation support,
building and leveraging your own network of founders, CTOs, CEOs, product leaders and technology decision-makers,
initiating outbound sales activities and opening new business conversations,
conducting discovery calls and qualifying potential clients,
presenting Traceroute42’s offer in a business-oriented way,
negotiating terms and closing contracts,
working closely with founders and the technical team to match client needs with delivery capabilities,
monitoring the market and identifying new business opportunities,
helping shape the company’s go-to-market approach.
Who we are looking for (Must-have)
Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in IT services, DevOps, cloud, hosting, infrastructure, software services or SaaS,
Track record of acquiring clients and generating revenue,
Existing network in the technology sector,
Ability to reach and engage decision-makers,
Strong commercial instinct and hunter mindset,
Understanding of complex technical services and ability to translate them into business value,
High ownership, independence and accountability,
Results-oriented mindset - you are measured by revenue, not activity,
Fluent Polish and English, minimum C1.
Nice to have
Experience selling DevOps, cloud, Kubernetes, infrastructure, MSP or hosting services,
Experience selling to SaaS, e-commerce, marketplaces or internet companies,
International sales experience,
Experience working closely with technical founders or engineering teams,
Willingness to gradually take more ownership of client relationships after closing.
